About University

Twenty first century and globalization has created the need for evolution of newer centers of learning and higher education in the country. The establishment of Uka Tarsadia University in 2011 by the Bardoli Pradesh Kelavani Mandal with the help of generous donation from B. U. Patel, USA and NRIs is an effort towards meeting the growing need. The University offers admissions in a comprehensive array of academic programs across the disciplines of Computer Science, Engineering, Science, Pharmacy, Commerce, Management, Paramedical, Architecture, Physical Education etc., that leads students to self-enrichment and productive careers in their chosen area. The university is providing excellent learning environment with best in class infrastructure along with valuable resources like free Wi-Fi Internet services, enriched library, gymnasium and sports. The University provides educational opportunities to over 10000 students. More than 400 faculty members of the University represent an eclectic mix of professional and academic, national and international experiences.

About Institute

SRIMCA is the accomplished institute established in 2002.It is a constituent college of Uka Tarsadia University managed by Bardoli Pradesh Kelavani Mandal. It is offering post graduate professional programs in Computer Applications (MCA) and Business Management (MBA) approved by AICTE. The institute is equipped with state-of-art infrastructure to cater rapidly changing requirements of industries. SRIMCA is a preferred destination for MCA programme due to its student centric and academic excellence motive. Teaching at SRIMCA is "highly practical" imbibed with industry projects and dissertations. Syllabus here is regularly enriched with state of art rapidly changing technology from multi-dimensional perspectives to pace industrial demand. Wide range of elective courses are offered to enhance knowledge in area of interest. Additionally, it imparts essential Soft Skills for lifelong learning and employability along with Value-based Education. It delivers a platform to add significant value of the students to enter the professional workforce with long term career potential. Institute occupies excellent placement records by facilitating placement assistance to students.

BVPICS is a constituent of Uka Tarsadia University, Bardoli. Starting with modest strength of 60 students in 1998, the Institute has progressed by leaps and bounds over the years and with the student strength of around 600, it has emerged as a brand in itself in the South Gujarat region. Initially meant to cater the students of Bardoli and nearby areas, the Institute has become a favored destination for students across the state. The curriculum offer a wide range of exciting electives and core courses. Here 3-D learning environment of dialogue, discussion and discourse groom students for life. Unique blend of theories with field experiences, industrial visits, expert talks, enough occasions of fun and frolic coupled with nurturing of health and soul quotients provides a holistic education. Meticulously planned teaching schedule and calendar of activities create unbounded opportunities to express leadership, creativity and other multiple talents. The robust involvement of professionally qualified faculties and attention to details with ample human quotient enable the newbies to rise and move ahead with acquired competencies and confidence. IT Mania is a tech fest that envisions to provide a platform for students passionate about technology to unite and share their innovative ideas, while learning about how technology can be integrated with numerous other fields. The primary intend behind the event is to provide young students a pathway to enter the digital world and showcase their ideas and innovations for industry specific problem definition via competing with other students through a series of interactive and innovative challenges.

IT Mania is proposed to carry out a plethora of events ranging from code lover ' s event to developer ' s art related to web-design, app-design, with a agile initiation to information security goal setters.

Rules:

Students from BCA, BSc (CS), BSc (IT), MCA, MScIT and MSc(ICT) can participate.
The registration fees is 100 ₹ per participant which is non-refundable.
Last date of registration is 20th January 2023.
Registration form are required to be filled online from the website.
Group 1 is for Under Graduate [UG] First Year and Second Year [FY and SY] Students.
Group 2 is for Under Graduate [UG] Third Year [TY] and Post Graduate [PG] Students.
Student can participate in multiple events of their group and in non-technical events if the event time is not intercepting.
Students must bring their college ID cards with them.
No TA, DA will be given by organizing college.
Event schedule may subject to change due to any uncertain circumstances. Final venue will be displayed on 27th January 2023.
Participants are required to report before 15 minutes of the respective competition.
Participant certificate will be awarded to all the participants.
Every event is managed by IT industry and evaluation criteria for each event will be declared before the start of event by them.
Decision given by the judges' panel will be final for declaration of winners and runners up.
Any dispute regarding any event will be resolved by the event coordinator only.
